This Weeks Box List
salad spring mix
bunch of arugula
handful of cherry tomatoes
red bell peppers
beets with greens
easter egg radishes
handful of golf ball sized turnips
I know what your thinking…Tomatoes?! Well, yes. Tomatoes. All of the 400 tomato plants we planted are dead, except for two. One of these freak plants is the size of a car. It keeps making cherry tomatoes like it is the fourth of July. I did not want to pick tomatoes for the CSA until there was enough for an entire handful for each box. Tomatoes in late January are unheard of. So enjoy. Make it count!

I found this pretty awesome mash up of beet recipes. I especially want to try the red flannel hash and the beet brownies.
