This is a beautiful crop of rapini. Just because its name has the word broccoli in it, does not mean it does not have a strong flavor. Because it does. To me, rapini tastes like mild mustard greens with faint notes of broccoli. We just had some rapini suated with garlic, bunapi mushrooms, tarragon, lemon zest, and pine nuts over wild rice. Rapina and mushrooms get along quite well.
